Color. It’s a beautiful thing, really.
Yet, there’s also something about it that can distract. I’ve always wanted to be one of those people who could dream in black and white (raise your hand if you are!), but I guess I’ll just have stick with my editing abilities. That and my love for old, black and white movies (Casablanca or His Girl Friday, anyone?).
Black and white. I could say that it’s powerful, captivating, and refocusing. It’s also something that heightens sentiments and, in turn, forces you to recognize them. It’s how this art form was first viewed. And how we spot heirlooms from across the room. Why should we not have, at least a few, of the same today? Call me a deep thinker or just an average girl who’d swoon to have every client’s walls (heck, my walls) adorned with black and white art.
So, I decided to compile a few favorites, black & white only, from my 2015 engagements/couple sessions…
