Because this wedding? This wedding was full of intentional detail and an emphasis in allowing room for those butterfly emotions only a bride & groom can understand. Alyssa & Taylor’s springtime wedding at the Historic Mankin Mansion, in Richmond Virginia, bursting with personal touches of organic greens & succulents (hullo Earth Day wedding vibes), dusty blues & greens, and hints of sparkling gold spoke of pure elegance.

The band cues up and the mac & cheese is ready. Signature cocktails, selfies-a-plenty, the cake in honor of your fur-baby, and dancing like you’ve never danced before in your life are all part of it. This is a marriage celebration at it’s finest.

My dearest Alyssa & Taylor — From that very first coffee and then mutually celebrating “fiance life” together, to our chats at Crossroads & reliving the proposal at the lake in Forest Hill Park, our friendship has been nothing short of memorable. Coming alongside of you throughout this journey and of course on your wedding day (it. actually. happened.), has been a highlight of my entire career. You were an honor to work with. Thank you.
