If you haven’t noticed by now, I did a lot of traveling this summer and one of my destinations was Charlotte, North Carolina. My time there was filled with many happy doings like going to “The Scarlet Pimpernel” musical, drinking the smallest Chai ever, listening to new Spotify playlists, playing Frisbee on the top level of a parking garage, enjoying my first King of Pops Popsicle and visiting a vintage market.
P.S. You also might recognize a few faces from Tuesday’s style shoot with Kal & Quentin. Mr. & Mrs. Busker, Brenn, Kal, and Quentin – Thanks for hosting me so, so well.
Jeremy & Anastasia, I loved seeing your part of the Queen’s City and catching up after so many years! You sure know the artsy spots of the city. Also, I found out that King Of Pops has a Richmond location too!
Vintage Charlotte happens a couple times throughout the year with their popup markets. They have all things vintage from lamps and jewelery to postcards and records. And don’t forget about the delicious Not Just Coffee as you browse!
Did I mention the sweet tea, cheesy grits, or steak? Or that within 30 seconds of me arriving Kal took a selfie? Or that I tried my first grapefruit, saw a double rainbow, and got a rose latte next to a Mona Lisa wearing Raybands from Amelie’s? That all happened. Mmhm, Charlotte I like you! Thanks for the memories!
Always,
–Tara M.
