KEVIN & RACHEL : A Summer Destination Wedding | Grand Rapids, Michigan

Words can’t begin to express how thrilling Kevin and Rachel’s wedding was to shoot! As you may recall from their love story of waiting for 38 years, Rachel has been one of the dearest and most supportive friends anyone could ask for. As their big day dawned, the murmurs of happiness swept throughout the morning’s preparations and both Kevin and Rachel were all the more excited to be in love. Each element of the ceremony – and really the entire wedding day – was intentional and meaningful to the couple and the guests attending. There’s just something incredibly unique and wonderful whenever a marriage is focused and dedicated to the Lord. Truly this day was perfect…

Kevin told me he was calm and “just excited to see her.” But really when the time came for their First Look he asked me more than three times if I could see her walking towards him yet…

Rachel – the definition of an elegant and GORGEOUS bride!

I love it that Kevin & Rachel purposed to honor the people they included in their wedding party. These people are their heartbeat, their community, their beloveds…

After years of waiting and years of prayer, Rachel became a bride – her little girl dream. Tears of joy swept through in more than one wave as these two committed themselves to each other.

Kevin & Rachel wanted their reception to be sweet and simple and a time of catching up with loved ones. So, with Michael Buble and Frank Sinatra playing softly in the background and the most variety of cheesecakes you’ve ever seen all on one table, I’d say it was a splendid success!

To the wonderful Mr. & Mrs. Wolfe, thank you. Thank you for allowing me be a part of your life-story, your testimony, your marriage. Thank you for being such an incredible example to look to for truth, commitment, and genuine love. You’ve encouraged me in more ways than I can communicate and it’s no denying, I’m one of your biggest fans. Here’s to your future and many more memories to come! Love to you!

Always,

–Tara M.
