The knife dance – a Persian tradition of the bride’s family stealing the cake knife and dancing around the room until the couple pays enough to retrieve it – begins.

Walking alongside you two this past year – read: eating donuts at sunrise at a historic estate – has been full of pretty rad experiences. Learning about your family and cultural traditions were also highlights. Thank you for trusting us with your love story, your moments, and your beautiful wedding day. You two love each other so well and how you put the other above yourself is inspiring to witness. Also, I’ve been listening to all kinds of Persian music now…Stephen says thank you…
