I believe in being generous. So when it comes to the single biggest day of your life yet, no argument amounts up to much.
There are too many pictures in this post.
Call it me being sappy for having just gotten married myself.
Call it indecisiveness.
I prefer to call it loving this day, this couple, this story of contagious joy.
The dusty blues with those rose gold sparkles here and there, the bouquets stuffed with greens, blushes, & white flowers, and the gifts exchanged just before the first look all speak of a couple with impeccable taste.
Enjoy these way-to-many favorites, friends!…
The sun streams through, painting shadows of mystery, somehow reflecting the anticipation only you, and those who have walked before you, know to be true. With wind blowing bitterly all around, but heart racing wildly inside, it’s that moment you’ve waited for…
The winery atmosphere can’t help but remind of when this fresh adventure first began. But now? Now, it’s setting the backdrop for yet another new, and slightly crazy, journey called marriage. Your people, those from near & far, gather. The low murmurs hush into that aw-inspired silence so loud it makes eyes blur & hearts soar. An unbreakable commitment is made: To have and to hold. Forever together. Husband & wife from this day forward.
When you experience something so good.
So sweet.
So calming, safe, & so dear.
It’s what is known as contagious joy. And it can’t help but abound all the more.
Put another way, it’s that “newlywed glow.”
Cookie bars, sorority squats a plenty, Frank Sinatra & Bruno Mars, and toasts that make you laugh and cry, are all part of that fun-loving & carefree wedding day you dreamt of. More than that, THIS is what life is all about: relationship.
Happiness -> experienced together…
My dear Ashley & Sawyer — From that very first coffee meeting, I knew you were a special couple. Not only did it seem as though we had a lot in common (hullo engagement/fiancé life AND weddings two weeks apart), but it was also your contagious joy that got me. You are a delight to be around. The positivity & intentionality in which you live your life – and now marriage – are both things that make this world a better place! May this new adventure be the best thing you’ve ever experienced. Thank you for being vulnerable. Thank you for allowing me to tell your story…
This day couldn’t have happened without the dream team of fellow vendors & dream-come-true-enthusiasts listed below. A big shout out to my love, Stephen, and good friend, David, for shooting with me!
Thank you for your hard work & making this day so meaningful for Ashley, Sawyer, and each guest attending. It was an honor to work alongside each of you!
