When I met Steve and Alicia back in April for their engagement session, I knew that their wedding was going to be a meaningful one. Not in the traditional fuss over this or that but rather, that their efforts would be spent in rekindling old friendships and strengthening family bonds. Steve and Alicia wanted their wedding to be all about celebration. And it truly was just that. Family flew in from England and friends came bearing gifts, smiles, and the funniest of stories from all around the area. The day was perfect and the limo ride was excellent (did I mention I geeked out a little about it?!). I hope you enjoy this peek into their special day!
Seriously! Sweet cards, touches of Britain, and the anticipation of the “First Look” is just too much to handle!
Steve and Alicia had their first look in the gazebo at the Dominion Club. I can’t tell you how much I love these moments – the adrenaline is pumping, the groom looks at you and asks, “…is she coming yet?!” and then the earth stops moving when they see each other…
Also, how gorgeous is this place and these people?! Ah!
After the ceremony, the celebrations began! The Urban Tavern had incredible vibes, great attention to detail, and delicious food. All that was left to do was to enjoy the company and listen to a few roasts or two (or three) on Steve during the toasts!
The constant murmur (with those gorgeous English accents) of friends, sudden outbursts of laughter, and many a group picture were some of the best highlights of the day!
Congratulations Steve & Alicia – Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your story and part of your celebration! Cheers to you and the years to come!
Always,
–Tara M.
