Everyone in the room has tears in their eyes. Privately & together, signatures are given on the handmade Ketubah – the Jewish wedding contract. Hands are clasped tight as the Ketubah is read aloud & parent blessings are given. This moment you planned for, as well as the unplanned slew of emotions, is happening.
Nerves fade as joy takes over.
Soon you both will stomp on the glass as all your best friends shout Mazletov!, your friends will dig up the bourbon with you, Dad will cut the challah, and the stars will come out just in time for the First Dance! Could this day be any more perfect?

Meet Katie & David.
It was love at first email for us with Katie & David. Everything they shared, from their choice of venue, wedding day priorities (just wanting to be present & actually enjoy their wedding day with friends & family), desire to personalize everything about their day – read: custom reception details & incorporating Jewish traditions throughout – to then their amazing proposal story (on the land they’d soon build their first home together on) and infectious personalities we love, love these two!! We couldn’t have picked a better way to describe them than how Katie did in the very beginning, “Our relationship is rooted in authenticity, telling each other like it is, and not taking anything too seriously.”
They married at the ever gorgeous historic Seven Springs Farm & Manor, just outside of Richmond, Virginia, on the perfect autumn day.
Yarmulkes & beverages were offered as guests arrived.
The Chuppah, Ketubah frame, table numbers & floral boxes were all handmade by David as well as the hand brewed beer for cocktail hour and all the log stumps lining the aisle were from the property they built their home on. To end the evening, David jammed out to Katie with his bandmates (who topped the charts a few years ago).

We looked forward to your wedding day ALL YEAR. Thank you so much for inviting us into not only your love story but also the sweetest day ever with your friends & family. We’ll never forget Pat & Ryan’s toast, the tears at your First Look, and blessing your dad gave as he cut the Challah. We hope marriage has been treating you well and yes…we still believe that the best is yet to come! Here for you guys always. Hugs all around…
