As fall officially sets in with the changing leaves and Adele plays on repeat with her deep melodies, my mood for sweaters only increases! The weather turns brilliantly crisp and my senses heighten. Y’all, there is so much to explore and appreciate! Be it a new coffee shop or cobble stoned street, the East Coast has my heart afresh this fall. This Weekend Wear features a favorite sweater I was gifted with at the end of the season last year (so it still feels new to my wardrobe!), and yes, it’s in my favorite color!…

I’m still breaking in these new black oxfords (recently purchased on clearance!), but I’m loving how versatile they are in both providing support and being stylishly slim around my foot. Side note: Shoes are super difficult for me. I have funny shaped and narrow feet. Raise your hand if you’re on the struggle bus with me!
Mix it up: For a quick, dressier feel I swapped out the skinnies for a cotton skirt and added necklace! Generally, I put a belt with this skirt, but I’m on this new I-don’t-feel-like-it-keep-it-simple-always kick…
|| Olive Sweater & gray scarf: Gifted from my Momma (purchased at Kohls), Skinnies: Thrifted. Black Oxfords: Famous Footwear, clearanced. Cotton skirt: Thrifted/Hand me down (can’t remember). Wooden necklace: Handmade from Costa Rica, gifted. Earrings & ring: gifted & Richmond Folk Festival find! Location: Old Town, Alexandria, VA (corners of Henry & Prince street). ||
I don’t know about you, but I’m so glad it’s the weekend! My parents are coming into town (!!!) and I can’t wait to adventure with them (and the boyfriend) around RVA and DC. Follow along on the Insta, if you want! Otherwise, have a great and stylish weekend!
Always,
