We’ve all had it happen: the “I-can’t-relate-with-you-at-all” kind of blank stares. Or the moment when you share something and it just seems like Jill over there is trying to one-up you.
In the last year I realized that when you find your people, you find your people.
AN ENCOURAGEMENT: Staying True To Who You Are
And after relocating my business & life to Southern California, I found people who like art museums, obsess over a grand estate with truly maximalist decor, enjoy having a GOOD TIME, & those who just dress up fancy to go spend way too much on a latte, like me. And it’s been so soulfully refreshing!
Today I hope you can find encouragement to embrace who you are.
In your life, career, relationships, and wedding planning.
You are farther along than you think you are.
And you really do light up the room for someone. Keep bringing that energy, the world is better with you in it!
So here is a lil’ peek behind the curtain of who I am and what I enjoy doing for fun when not shooting a gorgeous wedding weekend or couple’s love story:
- Watching all the BBC historic dramas. If doesn’t take place in some old villa ,mansion, or Tudor home, I don’t want it. Before Bridgerton became famous, I was there watching historical dramas.
- Often making myself proper tea with real china. Because Darling, life is short.
- Weekly listening to Andrea Bocelli as I make an Italian dinner.
- Dreaming of having European naturalism & impressionistic art hanging in my one-day-home. So in the meantime of that happening, I just photograph beautiful wedding venues & estates instead. Future dream venue list destination: Villa Balbiano in Lake Como
- Always having a book on Italy on my bedside table. In my 30’s I want to learn Italian.
I’d love to know if we share anything in common!

Eager to connect with you. 🙂
