Fact: My first job was at floral shoppe.
Another Fact: Kira, of Roses and Mint Wedding Florals, is THE most joyful person you’ll ever meet.
We’ve only had coffee once.
Unless you count the iced coffee right before her floral workshop at West Elm.
You read that right.
Spending the evening with Kira and the five ladies attending, at the gorgeous West Elm store in St Louis Galleria – talking about all the things – was nothing short of a blast!
Strangers became friends.
And those who felt like they had no floral talent in the beginning,
walked away with a newfound pride & joy in their resulting arrangements.
The evening’s design was a twist on your typical wedding tabletop arrangement with an emphasis on compelling lines & textures.
I couldn’t get enough of the cute containers and how everyone’s arrangements looked so different & unique.
Also, I could live in West Elm.
You?
I can’t wait for future collaborations with Roses and Mint — think all things boho elegance — and was so honored to tag along at the West Elm event.
Kira —
You’re friendship, encouragement, & industry connections you’ve helped me with have been invaluable to me. Thank you for welcoming me so well into your city & life. Xoxo.
Happy Tuesday, friends!
Always,
–Tara M
