Kiren & Priyank’s Intimate Wedding Shower Celebration
The longer I am in the wedding industry, the more convinced I am that taking time to invite others to partake in pre-wedding celebrations are the kind of experiences you won’t regret sharing. Be it a bridal shower, joint wedding showers, an engagement party, or any cultural adornment festivities like a Sangeet and Mehndi henna & dance parties prior to the Big Day, this time spent with those closest to you is just plain fun to do! And, many times, give your parents & close family members the opportunity to celebrate you & your fiance apart from the larger emotions of the wedding day.
Kiren wanted the traditional bridal shower with all the significant women in her life, fun games & sweets, and a pretty ambiance to feel celebrated as the bride-to-be. And she also wanted her love, Priyank, to join in the fun towards the end of the party so that those who hadn’t met him yet would get the chance to!
In true gentlemen’s fashion, Priyank showed up right on time with a big bouquet of fresh flowers for his bride. Let’s just say, the women went crazy for him! Aunties, & cousins from India, and long-time childhood & law school friends alike all gathered in one place to celebrate!
Custom, Handmade Indian Engagement Dress & Personalized Gift Stations for Guests
Kiren wore a handmade, custom-designed dress her mother brought over from India for her engagement & bridal shower celebrations. Its detailing in embroidered florals, bows around the waist, & delicate tulle overlay made it the perfect, understated elegance style of gown.
For guests’ enjoyment, artisanal charcuterie boards were given as party favors and a personalized perfume station with various spices & scents to create your own custom scent was a fun activation install.
Charcuterie meat & cheese boards, a big bowl of homemade curry couscous, fruits & veggies, sparkling juice, and champagne was served alongside a tray of custom Henna Hand sugar cookies as the light meal before bridal shower games ensued.
